"One degree of Learning" at the AFZ school

The "One degree of Learning" Quiz Competitions was launched at "Alok Shishu Shikkhaloy", the Afzalunnessa Foundation school on Thursday, 27th November. Meeting up in front of Etc as usual, the members set off for Agargaon at 10.45 am. They had spent the past few days, thinking up appropriate questions, translating them, getting them printed on colourful papers, making posters, etc.

Arrival at the Alok Shishu Shikkhaloy had been a memorable one as the kids milled around the members, greeting them, bubbling with excitement, and claiming they were ready for the test! The quiz took place in 2 shifts. In the first shift, students of classes I and II answered 20 questions. In the second shift, students from classes III, IV, and V answered 50 questions. Then while some of our members began the mammoth task of grading the papers, the rest of them distributed chocolates and held a loud singing session.

Each and every AFZ student, teacher and 1di members had an incredible amount of fun; and all came home with smiles. We are very grateful to the students for enthusiastic participation in the quiz and to all the AFZ teachers for their cooperation in conducting the quiz.
